Really authentic Japanese cuisine doesn't stop at sushi, and it doesn't do that here either. Absolute recommendation especially the lunch table is unbeatable in price performance!

Perfect for lunch: They serve several menues with miso soup, salad, rice and meat. Great deal, considering the great taste and quality! In summary: Go and get some Japanese food!

Good place, friendly stuff, good traditional food, tasty and clean. The missing star is because the accessibility for both handicaps and babywagens. The ladies toilets are in the second floor without elevator.

Food is good, staff is really friendly and you do not have to wait long for your food. In summer you can sit outside in the yard.

Very nice service (were friendly welcomed, was not pushy, has responded to questions competent, wait for food with 4 people about 30 minutes, at 12 o'clock ordered), authentic food beautifully prepared (the fried aubergine in sauce as a side dish has me personally tasted very good), price / quality is very good. Conclusion: Will be happy to come back.

Excellent setting and the food was phenomenal. The ambience is tastefully designed and the wait staff are friendly and nice. You can definitely taste the freshness in all the ingredients. The location is comfortable, cosy and very personal. The only reason for the docked star is the wait time. It took about an hour for us to get our food, which was a tad annoying.

Ramen soup a big too sweet but the Gyoza is not sweet enough. The service was great though.

Bad service. And for them to charge 2€ for a small pathetic crabmeat sushi, felt totally ripped off. Will not visit again.

Excellent Japanese cuisine.

The food was really not that good, and the drinks were quite bad. The beer was not cold and instead of replacing it they gave us ice. Overall the meal was an unpleasant experience and we just wanted to leave quickly.

This restaurant propose the best of what Mainz downtown has to offer in terms of asian food. Peaceful atmosphere (don’t go there if you are in a rush !) and authentic japanese dishes made me enjoy this place twice during my week-long stay in Mainz.

Japanese restaurant with very friendly service, in which we felt very comfortable during our spontaneous visit. The rooms are designed with Japanese accents so that you immediately feel welcome. The dishes were consistently of good quality and very flavorful. The wines were convincing.

This place is the real deal. The food is so wonderfully tasty and always lives up to expectation. Don't just try the sushi, try their platters too! The niko niko tei platter is diverse and loaded with different flavors.

If you can not or do not want to climb the stairs, you will also find the perfect table indoors. Really small but fine, good service and a fantastic, authentic food and beverage selection.We took the opportunity to lunch and twice a small lunch menu elected. Once with fried chicken, once with eggplant. Both a dream. Cheap, absolutely filling and unique in the combination of the individual spices!How come again, with reinforcement.

What Chinese people are doing is not Japanese cuisine! Moreover, we also have Japanese beers. The price was a bit high, but it was a convincing taste and atmosphere. The goodness of the shop can be heard from many regulars. It is located in a little place but it was a comfortable shop ~ (* '艸 `)

It is always delicious with Niko Niko Tei. We have been there since you have not moved. At that time you had to wait a long time but not at the time. Midday bento changes every day. Rice and hot green tea you can always empathize.
